Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an experienced RF/microwave Manufacturing Engineer in Mountain View to drive manufacturing excellence for mission-critical RF and microwave products used in aerospace, defense, and communications.

You will support production, develop processes, and mentor engineers while collaborating with design teams to optimize performance and manufacturability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a BSEE or higher with 5+ years in RF microwave electronics manufacturing or design.
• Strong knowledge of RF microwave circuitry and components.
• Proficiency in RF/Microwave tuning under a microscope.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support production teams to resolve technical issues and maintain schedule.
• Generate manufacturing and test documentation for first-time builds and investigations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges impacting production runs.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, test procedures, and documentation.
• Provide training and technical guidance to manufacturing personnel and mentor junior engineers.
• Tune and troubleshoot RF microwave circuits down to the component level.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize circuit performance and manufacturability.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including cost reduction and yield enhancement.
• Manage obsolescence redesign and qualification for legacy product support.
