Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a manufacturing engineer to drive excellence in RF and microwave product manufacturing for mission-critical applications. You will work hands-on to resolve technical issues, generate build and test documentation, and collaborate with design engineers to optimize performance and manufacturability.

The role involves root-cause analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• BSEE or higher with 5+ years in RF/microwave manufacturing or design.
• Strong knowledge of RF microwave circuitry and components.
• Proficiency in RF/microwave tuning and alignment under a microscope.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance

Responsibilities

• Support production teams to resolve technical issues and maintain schedule.
• Generate manufacturing and test documentation for first-time builds and investigations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges impacting production runs.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, test procedures, and documentation.
• Provide training and technical guidance to manufacturing personnel and mentor junior engineers.
• Tune and troubleshoot RF microwave circuits down to the component level.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize circuit performance and manufacturability.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including cost reduction and yield enhancement.
• Manage obsolescence redesign and qualification for legacy product support
