Job summary

Crane Aerospace and Electronics in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturing excellence for complex RF and microwave products in a high-mix, low-volume environment.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, develop detailed work instructions, mentor junior engineers, and support capital investments with ROI analyses to enable on-time delivery and superior quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering in high-reliability electronics/RF/microwave.
• Experience with Lean, RCA, and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process optimization across RF/microwave product lines.
• Analyze and design methods, flows, tooling for efficient production.
• Support root cause analysis for yield and quality issues.
• Participate in DFM reviews to improve manufacturability.
• Drive improvements in manufacturability of RF/microwave assemblies.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing instructions and routings.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams.
• Conduct cost analysis and ROI for capital investments.
• Interface with vendors and customers to resolve challenges.
