Job summary

Raytheon seeks a strong electrical engineer to join its RF/Microwave Engineering Team in Massachusetts. The role involves designing, testing, and integrating RF/microwave components and modules for defense applications, with opportunities to work on radar systems and phased array hardware.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in electrical design, is eager to learn, and can work 100% onsite in a collaborative environment that supports complex, real-time systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
  • Experience or coursework in RF/microwave, analog/digital electronics, circuit design/analysis, or electromagnetics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fixtured and on-wafer probe measurements.
  • Assemble RF/microwave/millimeter-wave test systems.
  • Use software to control test equipment and plot test results.
  • Support the MMIC and module design teams.
  • Integration and test of Digital, Analog, and RF components and modules.
  • Circuit analysis, circuit simulation, design documentation maintenance, trade assessments for obsolescence resolution, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and hardware integration, test and verification.
  • Work as part of a team to analyze Hardware / Firmware test requirements / specifications to determine Hardware and Firmware requirements.
  • Develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity and efficiency enhancements.
  • Interact with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, other engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.
  • Design of RF microwave components and phased array applications.
  • Integration and test of component level and system level phased array hardware.
