Job summary

Raytheon’s RF/Microwave Engineering team in the United States seeks an engineer to design, develop, test, and manufacture cutting-edge RF/microwave devices and MMICs for advanced defense programs. You will work with radar and sensing systems, collaborating across disciplines to ensure robust hardware verification.

The role emphasizes hands-on measurements, software-driven test automation, and cross-functional teamwork to deliver mission-critical solutions for national security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM required by start date.
• Coursework in RF Circuit Design, Microwave Circuits, Electromagnetics, or Radar-related topics.
• Experience designing, fabricating, or testing RF/microwave devices and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform fixtured and on-wafer probe measurements for RF/microwave test setups.
• Design, simulate, and analyze RF/microwave components and MMICs.
• Execute integration and testing for digital, analog, and RF assemblies.
• Use automated test instrumentation and software to control measurement systems and analyze results.
• Characterize devices using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and PNAs.
• Conduct circuit simulations and troubleshooting to resolve performance issues.
• Collaborate with systems, QA, reliability, and manufacturing to optimize test solutions.
