Job summary

Muon Space seeks an FPGA Engineer with RF processing expertise to join our HPC team in Silicon Valley. You will implement HDL/RTL for RF DSP on FPGAs and optimize algorithms at the intersection of RF theory, SDR, and high-performance FPGA design.

This hybrid role requires on-site work in San Jose, CA three days per week. You will collaborate with RF engineers, software teams, and scientists to deliver advanced Earth observation technology.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering with relevant RF/FPGA focus.
• 3+ years of FPGA development experience for RF algorithms and real-time DSP.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize RF processing algorithms on FPGAs for real-time execution.
• Design, simulate, implement and integrate DSP and modulation algorithms for RF applications.
• Collaborate with RF hardware engineers on communications and system bring-up and integration.
• Author design specifications and test reports.
