Job summary

MaXentric Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced FPGA engineer to design and implement FPGA hardware for advanced RF/wireless systems and DSP platforms in a production setting.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in FPGA/RTL, VHDL/Verilog, and toolchains like ModelSim/QuestaSim and Vivado, plus strong collaboration and presentation skills. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required for this role and the San Diego, CA area. California-compliant PTO is provided along with health benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years experience in FPGA/RTL design and verification.
• Experience with VHDL or Verilog and FPGA toolchains.
• Knowledge of DSP, RF/wireless, and DSP algorithms.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to FPGA hardware design for RF/wireless systems.
• Develop and implement design verification test plans.
• Keep current with RF/microwave and DSP trends.
• Translate algorithms into FPGA implementations.
• Collaborate with DSP and software engineers.
