Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced RF Engineering Technician D to support the design and manufacturing of TT&C products for airborne and space-based applications.

As an RF technician, you will be involved in integration and test of satellite communication links, digital telemetry, and signal processing technology. You will perform design verification testing and liaise between engineering and production.

Qualifications

• Experience with RF/microwave testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Experience with RF measurement equipment (spectrum/network analyzers, power meters, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform design verification testing of RF circuit cards and assemblies.
• Troubleshoot circuits to determine root cause at the component level.
• Write alignment and test procedures with minimal engineering assistance.
• Oversee environmental testing of developmental hardware.
• Serve as liaison between engineering and production during new product introductions.
