Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Amherst Systems Buffalo, NY seeks an Electronics Technician to support development and production of simulation systems. You will test RF products, digital cards, and analyze malfunctions under a microscope, contributing to safe, high-quality electronics assemblies.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or electronics knowledge, ability to read procedures, and teamwork. Candidates with soldering and test equipment experience are preferred; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Electronics knowledge gained through schooling, the military or work experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow procedures and drawings.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Hands-on use of drawings, wire lists, source control drawings, or test procedures is preferred.
• Experience with test equipment and micr oelectronics tuning under a microscope is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration with engineers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot RF products including RF microelectronic parts, amplifiers, switches, and mixers.
• Test and troubleshoot digital circuit cards and analyze operating characteristics.
• Diagnose non-conformances using schematics and test procedures.
• Perform RF tuning on microelectronics under a microscope with precision.
• Record production data and maintain test documentation and travelers.
