Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Amherst Systems in Buffalo, NY seeks an Electronics Technician 2 (2nd Shift) to join a team focused on development and production of state-of-the-art simulation and test systems for electronic warfare products. You will test and troubleshoot RF components and digital cards, analyze failure modes, calibrate instruments, and document actions in quality records.

A high school diploma or GED with electronics experience or an Associate’s degree is required, along with U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant electronics experience or an A.A. in electronics.
• Hands-on experience with wiring lists, source control drawings, or test procedures.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot RF products including RF microelectronics, RF amplifiers, switches, and mixers.
• Test and troubleshoot digital circuit cards.
• Analyze equipment operating characteristics to isolate malfunctions.
• Perform RF tuning under a microscope and calibrate test equipment.
• Record production data and ensure validity in test systems.
