Teledyne ETM in Newark, CA is seeking an Electronics Technician to perform RF testing, tuning, troubleshooting, and validation of HPA and HPM systems. This role follows engineering procedures to verify TWT and SSPA functionality, perform RF alignment, and generate performance plots to ensure products meet specifications.

Formación

• Associate degree or higher in Electronics or related field; 3–5 years in electronic test and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with RF, microwave, HPA, HPM, TWT, SSPA, satellite comms, or similar high-power systems.
• Proficient with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, RF power meters, oscilloscopes, multimeters).
• Ability to read electrical schematics, drawings, and test procedures; document test data and results.

Responsabilidades

• Perform RF alignment, tuning, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing.
• Verify TWT and SSPA functionality and overall RF system performance.
• Measure RF parameters (gain, output power, efficiency, spectral regrowth, harmonics, frequency response).
• Generate RF plots, test reports, and problem reports documenting failures and corrective actions.
• Follow engineering and manufacturing instructions and quality requirements.
• Support environmental stress screening and burn-in activities.
• Troubleshoot production and customer return units; support root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product performance and reliability.
• Safely handle high-voltage/high-power amplifier systems in production.
