Job summary

Teledyne ETM in Newark, CA seeks an Electronics Technician to test, screen, troubleshoot, and validate high‑power power supply systems for RF testing. You will work with engineers, quality and operations to ensure safe, grounded, and reliable modules used in HPA/HPM products deployed globally.

The role requires hands-on testing, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant electronic test and troubleshooting experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with high‑power electronic systems such as HPA/HPM.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench testing, screening, and troubleshooting of HPA/HPM power supply systems and modules.
• Verify grounding, electrical integrity, functionality, and readiness for RF testing.
• Screen and qualify systems for TWT and SSPA compatibility.
• Generate problem reports and document failures, findings, and corrective actions.
• Follow engineering procedures, test processes, and quality requirements.
• Support Environmental Stress Screening and burn-in activities.
• Troubleshoot production and customer service units and support root cause investigations.
• Work safely with high-voltage and high‑power amplifier systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve product performance and reliability.
• Manage multiple test stations and priorities while maintaining production schedules.
