Job summary

Teledyne ETM in Newark, CA is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to bridge engineering and production on high-power RF and HV systems. You will diagnose issues, drive CAPA, and support NPI from prototype to production ramp.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing/test, hands-on troubleshooting, and familiarity with RF test equipment and automated test systems. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
5+ years in manufacturing/test engineering or production support for high-power electronics and/or RF systems.
Hands-on troubleshooting from bench to system level.
Experience with RF and electronic test equipment.
Ability to interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
U.S. citizen required.
Familiarity with automated test systems (ATE, LabVIEW).

Responsibilities

Own production support across RF, high-voltage, and power electronics on all levels.
Lead structured investigations and CAPA.
Support prototype and pilot builds for smooth production transfer.
Identify manufacturing risks early and drive mitigation plans.
Develop initial assembly flows, test strategies, and documentation.
Collaborate with engineering on DFM and readiness for production.
Build and improve manufacturing processes under change control (ECOs).
Enable robust testing with RF instrumentation to ensure repeatable production testing.
Train assemblers and technicians to improve diagnostics, reporting, and execution quality.
Advance automation with fixtures, tooling, and automated test systems.
Monitor yield and analyze trends to drive quality and throughput.
