Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ, onsite, is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to design transmitters, receivers and exciters for RF/microwave systems. You will develop circuit card assemblies, perform lab characterization, and verify modules in integrated environments.

Collaboration with cross‑functional teams across power, digital and mechanical is essential. Required is a STEM bachelor’s with 2+ years in RF and the ability to obtain interim DoD clearance; relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 2+ years of related RF experience.
• Experience with RF design, testing and simulation tools.
• Ability to obtain interim DoD security clearance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design CCAs with RF/mixed signals and RF routing.
• Work in a lab for component characterization and module verification.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware and documentation.
• Schematic capture and RF routing coordination.
• Collaborate with power, digital and mechanical teams.
