Broadcom in San Jose is seeking a senior engineer to lead the development of Antenna Tuner solutions for NR 5G, LTE-Advanced and Wi-Fi, steering hardware from concept to mass production for Tier-1 mobile customers.

The role blends technical leadership with program management, requiring deep RF expertise, hands-on tuning, and strong customer interfaces. You will direct cross-functional teams, ensure timely milestones, and contribute to a growing next-generation product family.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
• 12+ years in wireless RF with PM or tech leadership track-record.
• Deep expertise in Antenna Tuners: aperture tuning, impedance tuning, RF switches, tunable capacitors.

Responsabilités

• Lead R&D projects: direct cross-functional teams on Antenna Tuner products for Tier-1 mobile customers.
• Customer interfacing: primary technical contact ensuring specs meet Tier-1 requirements and delivery schedules.
• Project management: manage timelines, coordinate resources, assess risks, ensure on-time milestones.
• Technical guidance: lead debugging, tuning and optimization of RF modules while guiding the team through RF challenges.
