Job summary

TP-Link Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Antenna Engineer to join our hardware engineering team in Irvine, CA.

You will participate in antenna architecture design, simulation, tuning, and validation for home network products, with cross-functional collaboration across RF, system, and EMC groups. You will lead end-to-end antenna testing, influence design decisions with data, and support regulatory activities (FCC/SAR).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EM field, microwave or RF engineering.
• 3–7 years antenna design experience for consumer electronics.
• Hands-on antenna development for wireless routers, smartphones, IoT, and CPE.
• Strong RF/microwave fundamentals and antenna principles.
• Experience with RF lab test instruments and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Design antenna architecture and perform simulations and optimization.
• Lead end-to-end antenna testing and validation.
• Collaborate with RF, system, EMC, and platform teams.
• Support regulatory activities including FCC and SAR.
• Produce comprehensive antenna design documentation.
