Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Staff to drive producibility and cost targets for RF product development. You will develop MRAs, create manufacturing plans, and bridge design and production teams.

The role involves hands-on shop work, test coordination, and frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams across locations, with domestic/international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Effective communication including verbal, listening, technical writing, and presentations.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating concepts, evolving designs, and trade-studies to certify producibility and cost-targets.
• Developing and updating Manufacturing Readiness Assessments for early-stage assemblies.
• Creating and maintaining manufacturing plans, make-or-buy analyses, and related docs.
• Building low-rate development assemblies, troubleshooting issues, coordinating tests.
• Presenting technical and manufacturing briefings at design/manufacturing reviews.
• Traveling to supplier sites and Lockheed Martin facilities to support testing and production.
