Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Loan Officer to originate self-sourced reverse mortgages and related products. You will close at least two loans per quarter and manage borrower documentation, disclosures, and underwriting coordination.

You will analyze credit and financial scenarios to select suitable loan products, price loans, and communicate fees to the operations team. Frequent branch visits and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of experience in Reverse Mortgage lending or related field.
• Active NMLS License.
• Able and willing to meet customers outside the branch.

Responsibilities

• Originate self-sourced reverse mortgages and close at least two loans per quarter.
• Obtain accurate and thorough 1009 and other application documents.
• Collect supporting documentation from borrower.
• Submit a complete loan package to processing.
• Review Closing Docs and participate in the closing when necessary.
• Provide administrative support in the collection and preparation of submitting loan application with supporting documentation to processing.
• Visit assigned branches in person at least once per month.
