Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Kentucky is seeking a Process Engineer to advance reverse logistics initiatives. You will drive experiments to optimize automated processes, coordinate with operations, hardware, software, safety and procurement teams, and develop clear documentation to support efficient, secure manufacturing and testing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in a similar role; 3+ years using reporting/analytical tools (Excel/Tableau/Minitab).
• Experience with line assembly/disassembly processes.
• Advanced knowledge of warehouse management/shop-floor systems.
• Experience with process flow layout, value stream mapping, and time studies.

Responsibilities

• Define, oversee and drive design of experiments to iterate on process and automate mundane tasks.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to improve processes via data analysis, software integration and hardware design.
• Identify and define new processes as necessary.
• Develop detailed user and functional requirement documents for project scope and budgeting.
• Deliver with strong customer focus, clear communication, and program execution within scope, schedule and budget.
• Develop SOPs, visual aids and RAMS for safe handling and operation.
• Develop/review process flow maps for efficiency and security requirements.
• Create and implement RACI charts clarifying responsibilities and avoiding ambiguity.
• Manage projects to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
