Job summary

re:Cycle Reverse Logistics LLC, an Amazon stand-alone company, is seeking a Process Engineer to support the Reverse Logistics program with emphasis on NPI, industrial automation, maintenance and continuous improvement. You will help drive efficiency and quality across processes and hardware development.

You will interact with Operations, Hardware Engineering, Software Development, Safety, Procurement, Legal and 3PLs to deliver measurable improvements within scope and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role with analytics tools.
• Bachelor's Degree in Technical or business discipline or other related quantitative discipline.
• Experience and knowledge of line assembly/disassembly process.
• Advanced knowledge in administration of warehouse management system/shop-floor system.
• Experience with physical layout of process flows, value stream mapping, time-studies for optimal efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Define, oversee and drive “design of experiments” activities to iterate on process and automate mundane & repetitive activities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stake holders to improve processes through data analysis, software integration and hardware design & implementation.
• Identify and define new processes as necessary.
• Develop detailed user & functional requirement documents defining project success for effective scoping & budgeting for complex problems.
• Delivery; exceptional customer obsession, clear & concise communication skills, program/project execution within defined scope, schedule & budget.
• Develop documentation - SOP’s. Visual Aids and RAMS for safe handling and process operation.
