Job summary

Sage Publishing seeks a Revenue Transformation Lead to evaluate and modernize revenue accounting, reporting, and finance systems across the organization. You will bridge Finance, Revenue Ops, Tax, Technology, Product, and Sales to transform how revenue is captured, processed, and reported.

The role leads ERP and finance transformation initiatives, ensuring future-state processes align with accounting standards and growth strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years in progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Experience leading revenue transformation and ASC 606 implementations.
• CPA or graduate accounting degree is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls over FR.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead ASC 606 revenue recognition assessments for products and contracts.
• Design future-state revenue processes, controls, and reporting within ERP initiatives.
• Collaborate with Revenue Ops, Tax, Legal, Sales, Product, and Tech on configurations.
• Improve monthly revenue close, reconciliations, and reporting automation.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and Board-ready presentations.
