Credit RP is seeking a detail-oriented Payments/Accounts Specialist to review accounts, ensure fees are collected or scheduled, and manage refunds as needed. The role involves analyzing client scenarios to prevent settlement defaults and keeping management informed of trends impacting revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• At least one year of related experience required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Review accounts to ensure earned fees are collected or scheduled.
• Process refunding/reversing of fees when appropriate.
• Resolve issues that could prevent the client from graduating the program.
• Prevent settlement defaults by altering fee collection dates.
• Communicate issues and trends to department management.
• Research uncollected payments and optimize cash flow.
