Job summary

Finalsite is hiring for a Payments Reconciliation Specialist on a contract basis to support a US-based clientele. The role requires processing chargebacks, reconciling settlements, and building correction files within ERP workflows, following documented procedures and reporting to the Payments Reconciliation Lead.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in cash application or AR/payables, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in cash application or AR/payable roles.
• Experience tying detail to totals and reconciling differences.
• Proficient in Excel (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables).
• Ability to follow written procedures precisely.
• Strong written English and daily deadline discipline.
• Experience with chargebacks or NSF a plus.
• ERP imports/exports are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Chargeback intake and logging within same day.
• Order lookup in Web Store portal and verify notices.
• Line-item reconstruction with GL code, payment ID, tax.
• Build correction file for ERP import.
• Reconcile settlements to cent, tie-out orders.
• Prepare daily notices file for clients.
• Quality check per runbook; escalate when needed.
• Deliver files to Customer Success Manager via Lead.
• Escalate issues to Lead when gaps or mismatches occur.
• Suggest automation opportunities.
