Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. seeks a Revenue Recognition expert to lead ASC 606 compliant processes in a Utah-based role. You will oversee design-build activities, integration testing, and deployment readiness, driving accurate revenue recognition across releases.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in revenue recognition, SAP experience (RAR, FI), and strong cross-functional communication to ensure timely financial close. This role is on-site in Lehi, UT with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of domain expertise in Revenue Recognition; ASC 606 understanding.
• Experience with at least 2 full SAP implementations (preferably S/4HANA).

Responsibilities

• Attend design workshops and help disposition requirements.
• Break larger items into smaller tasks by functionality.
• Support Lead in identifying fit to standard and readiness items.
• Define ready-for-work items for the build pipeline.
• Assist in estimating work and acceptance criteria input.
• Define automated test scripts for validation.
• Translate requirements into functional/technical designs.
• Build configurations and decompose requirements into tasks.
• Report daily status and maintain design-build plans.
• Participate in demos of working software to stakeholders.
• Perform functional testing.
• Participate in integration testing and verify build goals.
• Drive defects to closure and support data migration.
• Assist in change management and training for readiness.
• Execute readiness and deployment tasks for the process team.
• Transition the solution to the support team.
• Support revenue close activities and GAAP revenue recognition controls.
• Review contracts and provide accounting guidance as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation.
