Job summary

IPC Systems is seeking a Manager, Revenue Recognition to lead an international team of revenue accountants and ensure GAAP-compliant recognition for SaaS contracts. You will drive ASC 606 implementation, monitor revenue and COGS by contract, and partner with Sales and Finance to improve process efficiency.

The role requires 5–10 years in finance, SaaS revenue experience, CPA preferred, and strong communication with executive leadership across global offices.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience from public accounting and/or multinational company, ideally in fintech or SaaS.
• Experience with revenue recognition in a SaaS environment, including subscription-based revenue.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and its application to SaaS or subscription-based revenue models.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence executive decisions across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an international team of six revenue accountants to ensure timely and accurate revenue and COGS entries.
• Lead the adoption of ASC 606 for SaaS revenue recognition practices, ensuring accurate reporting.
• Review monthly variances between budget/forecast and actual results.
• Review margins by customer and explain variances to executive leadership.
• Review new large contracts for ASC 606 compliance and revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance to determine IPC's role in reseller agreements and document conclusions.
