Job summary

Turn2Partners is seeking a Revenue & Project Accounting Manager to own the accounting side of the revenue close across a portfolio of long-term, project-based contracts. You will lead a 4-5 person Project Accounting team and partner with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance leadership.

The ideal candidate has construction/engineering experience, strong ASC 606 and POC knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. This is a hands-on leadership role within a growing company with visibility and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based environment.
• 2-3+ years of leadership or people management.
• Strong knowledge of percentage-of-completion revenue recognition (POC).
• Solid ASC 606 understanding.
• Experience with WIP schedules and estimates-to-complete.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, modeling).

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and quarter-end revenue recognition for long-term contracts.
• Lead ASC 606 and POC revenue recognition processes.
• Prepare and own WIP schedules, earned revenue, and billings analysis.
• Analyze revenue, costs, estimates-to-complete, and project margins.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on budgets, billing and forecasts.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a 4–5 person Project Accounting team.
• Review contracts and change orders for revenue impact.
• Ensure revenue close journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Support revenue-related audit schedules.
