Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking a FICA Team Leader within Billing and Revenue Support to provide day-to-day operational leadership, coaching, and expertise for payment processing, credit management, and fraud prevention. The role coordinates workload, monitors quality, and partners with internal teams and vendors to secure timely payment posting and revenue protection.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• At least two years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of billing, payment processing, collections, credit management, and laws.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365; SAP ISU experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-team collaboration.
• Experience in an inbound contact center or regulated environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the FICA team, including workload and staffing.
• Coach and train team on policies, systems and service expectations.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and service levels; address gaps.
• Resolve escalated customer or account issues with internal teams and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls, audit standards and risk practices.
• Prepare operational reports, dashboards and performance updates.
• Oversee credit-management activities and fraud monitoring.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure timely payment posting.
• Support continuous improvement and protect company revenue.
