Job summary

The City of Hardeeville seeks a Revenue Collector to coordinate city revenue functions, including accounts receivable, local taxes, invoicing, and collections. Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma; postsecondary coursework in accounting/finance preferred.
• Two years of progressive, responsible experience in government accounting/finance preferred.
• Multilingual a plus; knowledge of local government financial functions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer revenue collection functions including accounts receivable, state/local taxes, invoicing, collections, revenue reporting, and related activities.
• Serve as primary contact for taxpayers, businesses, and the public on revenue matters; support Finance Department functions.
• Provide backup for business licensing activities as needed.
