Qualifications
Experience in EMR documentation and coding accuracy.
Three years of E/M and/or surgical coding experience.
Extensive knowledge of documentation, coding, and billing regulations.
Responsibilities
Conduct reviews of EMR documentation of patient encounters for coding accuracy.
Prepare written reports of the audit findings to leadership.
Develop educational materials and presentations for providers and coders.
