Job summary

Care New England Health System is seeking a Revenue Integrity Charge Capture specialist to ensure complete, accurate, and timely hospital and professional charges. You will monitor Epic Revenue Guardian reports, validate charge capture, and collaborate with clinical, coding, and operational teams to ensure compliance and maximize revenue.

Responsibilities include reviewing daily reports, reconciling documentation with charges, and assisting with audit readiness and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Strong CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding knowledge applied to charge capture.
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid/commercial payer guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review daily Epic Revenue Guardian reports and charge-related work queues to identify and correct missing, incomplete, or inaccurate charges.
• Validate charge capture processes are functioning as expected and elevate systemic issues to the Manager of Revenue Integrity.
• Reconcile clinical documentation against charge activity to ensure all services rendered are accurately recorded.
• Collaborate with clinical departments to clarify documentation discrepancies or omissions impacting charging.
• Maintain knowledge of CMS guidelines and payer billing requirements; apply CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 codes during charge validation.
