Cengage, a global edtech leader, seeks a highly analytical Forecasting & Planning Analyst to drive revenue growth through advanced forecasting, territory optimization, and strategic insights.

The role collaborates with Sales, Finance, and Central Analytics to translate data into actionable strategies, deliver performance insights, and advance AI-driven automation across revenue operations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in sales forecasting, GTM planning, or BI roles with growing scope and complexity.
• Expert proficiency in Excel, CRM platforms, Gong, and data visualization tools (Power BI).
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into executive-ready narratives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales Forecast Cadence and interpret sophisticated data sets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Refine planning strategies, assess targets, geography models, and quotas; support mid-year adjustments with data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with Finance and Sales leadership to ensure plans are equitable, executable, and aligned to revenue targets.
• Own planning and forecasting interlock with cross-functional teams; connect quotas to forecasting processes for accurate performance tracking.
