Job summary

VELOX Media seeks a Head of Client Performance in Boise to lead Client Success, Paid Media, Technical SEO, and Syndication. You will manage a small book of key accounts alongside a hands-on role auditing campaigns and shaping strategy to tie performance to revenue.

You must be fluent across Organic Search, Paid Media, and AI Search Optimization, and capable of communicating complex data to clients. This role demands decisive leadership under pressure and direct action to protect client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in agency client services, paid media, or search marketing.
• 4+ years managing a team.
• Hands on experience running Google Ads and Meta campaigns, deep enough to audit and coach others.
• Strong working knowledge of Organic Search and Technical SEO.
• Current understanding of AI search and how brands earn visibility in AI answers.
• Proven record of improving client retention and growing accounts.
• Comfort with analytics, attribution, and revenue reporting.
• Strong presentation skills with C Suite and senior marketing leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of Client Success, Paid Media, Technical SEO & Syndication.
• Own client retention, renewals, and account growth across the full client portfolio.
• Review Paid Media performance across Google, Meta, and other platforms, and step in to fix underperforming accounts.
• Evaluate Organic Search strategy, including keyword targeting, content, technical SEO, and links, and explain results clearly to clients.
• Guide AI Search Optimization strategy so clients earn visibility inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI answers.
• Have a strong knowledge of running a key book of accounts personally.
• Serve as the escalation point for at risk clients and lead every save conversation.
• Run monthly and quarterly business reviews that tie performance to client revenue using ALTIERA Revenue Intelligence Platform.
• Catch performance issues before clients do, and own the process that flags them early.
• Partner with Sales on onboarding handoffs and with Content and Technical teams on delivery.
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
