Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Training & Support Specialist to drive training, curriculum development, and quality assurance across the Revenue Cycle at all locations. You will design training strategies, policies, and certification programs while auditing quality and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes developing and directing QA initiatives, planning system upgrades, and coaching staff through performance improvements. Strong communication and Epic proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or related field or equivalent work experience in Hospital Patient accounts.
• Four (4) years experience in hospital insurance billing, account follow-up, auditing, training or project management; excellent knowledge of Revenue Cycle processes and systems.
• Understanding of quality assurance and process improvement within Revenue Cycle operations.
• Proven ability to educate and train Revenue Cycle staff on systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provides training and education related to application navigation during onboarding for new department staff.
• Assists in development and facilitation of new hire onboarding and continuing education.
• Develops, implements and coordinates staff training; creates materials and schedules classes.
• Assists with individual professional development plans for management and coaches leadership.
• Educates staff on patient billing operations, regulatory compliance and process improvements.
• Evaluates operations to identify training needs and improve methods.
• Delivers training programs across Revenue Cycle; maintains training docs and aids.
• Coaches and mentors team members; supports system upgrades and rollout planning.
