Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix is seeking a Billing and Collections Supervisor to oversee physician practice billing and collections. You will supervise staff, monitor productivity and quality, and ensure adherence to policies while maintaining accurate account reconciliation and timely payments.

You will lead daily team huddles, manage A/R aging, and collaborate with clinics to address revenue cycle concerns, fostering a professional, compliant environment across our health system.

Qualifications

• 5 years multi-specialty physician billing and collections experience or front office experience in a medical practice.
• 3 years experience in central billing office or physician office setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises personnel in area of responsibility including hiring, training, evaluating and development.
• Monitors employee productivity and quality of work in Revenue Cycle.
• Leads daily DMS and team huddles; maintains open communication with staff and leadership.
• Tracks and audits A/R on aging rotations; assigns and monitors A/R work.
• Resolves difficult customer service issues and collaborates with other teams to fix billing problems.
