Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of administrative, clerical, or customer service experience.
• Experience supervising staff or leading teams.
• Certification in medical billing/coding.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems (Epic).
• Proficiency with reporting or data-manipulation tools like Access/Excel/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise billing and coding functions to maximize revenue.
• Ensure compliance with billing and coding standards and regulations.
• Conduct audits and coding reviews for accuracy and documentation.
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing/claims issues.
• Support budgeting and revenue projections with the clinical management team.
• Oversee Medicaid cost settlement reporting and related data analyses.
• Coordinate technology needs for billing systems and related hardware/software.
• Collaborate with nursing/admin leadership on revenue cycle planning.
