Job summary

Alamance County Government is seeking a Registration & Revenue Operations Supervisor to maximize health department revenue by leading billing and coding within personal health clinics. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant revenue operations while supporting staff and optimizing workflows that strengthen the department’s financial performance.

The position supervises administrative staff, coordinates with insurance providers, and partners with the clinical management team on data

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of administrative, clerical, or customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license with driving record meeting county standards.
• Preferred: associate degree and two years in medical billing/coding or revenue cycle.
• Preferred: certification in medical billing/coding.
• Experience with Epic EMR and data tools (Access/Excel/SQL).

Responsibilities

• Supervise administrative and customer-facing staff.
• Ensure compliance with billing and coding procedures.
• Perform audits and coding reviews for accuracy and documentation.
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve issues.
• Submit data for analysis by clinical management.
• Manage provider credentialing through CAQH and NCTracks.
