Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Supervisor for the Business Office LOH in Naperville. You will oversee the front end revenue cycle—registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and financial counseling—and lead staff to ensure accurate, timely operations.

You will mentor team members, develop policies, monitor budgets, and produce monthly performance reports. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in health care with supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• CPR – American Heart Association; CPI within 90 days of hire.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a business office or finance/accounting environment.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum three years of behavioral health experience.
• Minimum three years of health care experience.
• Crisis line of crisis intervention experience.
• Substantial knowledge base of insurance plans such as Commercial, Managed Care and capitated plans, Medicare, Medicaid and Workers Compensation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the front end revenue cycle including registration, scheduling, insurance verification and financial counseling.
• Prepare complex correspondence, reports, charts, tables and forms with advanced software skills.
• Oversee scheduling, registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, reception area and clerical support.
• Hire, orient, train, evaluate and, when needed, discipline department personnel.
• Contribute to development of departmental policies, procedures and budgets and assist in new protocols.
• Prepare monthly operation reports (volumes, referral sources, charity care, money collections).
• Monitor budget and resolve variances; collaborate on annual operating budget.
• Organize workload to meet deadlines and priorities.
• Identify staff development needs and coordinate training.
