Job summary

IU Health's Ball Cancer Center in Indiana is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist focused on patient registration and scheduling. This onsite role supports the front desk and patient flow, with 8-hour day shifts from 8:30am to 5:00pm, no weekends.

You will build strong relationships with clinical teams, handle financial clearance, and provide reliable customer service while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred.
• Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for appointments and procedures.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
• Build strong relationships with Ball Cancer Center Clinic, Outpatient Infusion, and Ball Cancer Center Infusion.
• Demonstrate compassion and provide excellent customer service.
• Multi-task across registration, scheduling, and financial clearance.
