Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Revenue Cycle Medical Billing Shared Services Mail Processor for our on-site team in West Plains, MO. The role supports posting and processing by handling incoming mail, uploading to the correct accounts, and routing items to the proper department.

Working hours are Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm CST, with hourly pay of $16. The position requires accuracy in sorting mail, verifying patient account numbers, and using billing software to assign numbers.

Qualifications

• 6 months data entry experience with emphasis on 10-key use.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Proficient with basic computer commands (Copy, Cut, Paste, Select All).

Responsibilities

• Open and sort incoming mail from the post office.
• Ensure patient account number is present on each document.
• Use billing software to determine or correct patient account numbers.
• Scan and upload documents to the document management system.
• Process incoming electronic faxes and forward documents as needed.
• Forward documents to appropriate departments with accuracy.
