Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Revenue Cycle Medical Billing Shared Services Mail Processor in West Plains, MO. You will handle incoming mail, verify patient account numbers, and upload documents to the management system to ensure accurate processing and routing to the correct departments.

The role requires 6 months of data entry with 10-key accuracy, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with basic computer commands. Hit rate on mail sorting and faxes must meet service expectations.

Qualifications

• 6 months data entry experience with an emphasis on 10-key use.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Proficient in basic computer commands such as Copy, Cut, Paste, Select All.

Responsibilities

• Open and sort incoming mail received from the post office.
• Ensure patient account number is present on each document.
• Utilize billing software to determine correct patient account number if missing.
• Scan and upload documents to document management program for retention and review.
• Process incoming electronic faxes.
• Assign and forward documents meant for other departments with accuracy.
