You will oversee the business office, coordinate with the billing team, manage deposits, Medicaid eligibility, and private-pay collections, and support cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a long-term care business office or related healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care payers.
• Understanding Medicaid eligibility requirements and the application process.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel); experience with healthcare billing/electronic systems preferred.
• Strong communication with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
• Organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily business office operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Drive cash collections and manage accounts receivable aging.
• Coordinate deposits and cash posting.
• Manage private pay collections and resident trust accounts.
• Support billing team to ensure timely submission of insurance claims.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize revenue cycle performance.
