Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System seeks a capable leader for the Registration department to manage daily staffing, training, and customer service activities. The role focuses on accuracy in information systems and patient data, while supporting department goals and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a customer service/office or call center environment; leadership helpful.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a dynamic healthcare setting.
• Demonstrates confidentiality and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily staffing needs for the registration team and coordinate with related departments.
• Coordinate education and training for team members and new staff.
• Assist with customer service issues and staff development coaching.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed with accuracy and timeliness.
• Educate and monitor staff on analytics to identify system or process improvements.
• Post and communicate schedules, maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
