Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4+ years in payment posting, medical coding, billing, and AR.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience leading revenue cycle staff and improving processes is valued.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: select, train, orient, develop, and evaluate revenue cycle staff.
• Operations Coordination: direct and coordinate daily billing staff operations.
• Process Improvement: identify areas for improvement and implement plans with follow-up.
• Documentation: maintain PM and EHR documentation for compliant claims.
• Self-Pay Collections: develop and implement approaches to improve collections.
• Business Strategies: align improvements with organizational goals.
• Collaboration: foster teamwork across the revenue cycle and organization.
• Performance Evaluation: monitor accuracy and efficiency and provide feedback.
• Denials Management: assist with denials and corrections to minimize losses.
• Payer Path Improvement: optimize payer-related processes.
• Support Functions: assist with posting, verification, coding, patient payments, and billing questions.
• Special Projects: complete assigned projects.
• KPIs: monitor and report on revenue cycle KPIs and analyze trends.
• Learning Opportunities: share learnings to reduce rework.
• Patient Experience: improve patient experience through inquiry and responsiveness.
