Job summary

Josselyn is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to improve organizational workflows and optimize the revenue cycle management (RCM) within its EMR system. The role focuses on revenue cycle workflows, system configuration, reporting, and driving technology-enabled improvements in the first year.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in healthcare operations or EMR/RCM, strong SQL reporting skills, and experience with SmartCare or similar EMR platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related field acceptable in lieu of formal education.
• 3+ years in healthcare ops, healthcare tech, business analysis, EMR admin, revenue cycle, or related.
• Experience with EMR/EHR and RCM configurations.
• SQL reporting and database experience.
• Workflow analysis and process improvement experience.
• Experience with revenue cycle workflows.
• Microsoft 365 proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue cycle workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency, accuracy, and financial performance across eligibility verification, authorizations, claims, denials, posting, and collections.
• Support EMR optimization efforts and related system configurations to improve operations.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and tools for revenue cycle operations.
• Document workflows, configurations, and business requirements.
• Assist with project planning, testing, implementation, and stakeholder communication.
• Monitor risks and readiness; support change management and measure ROI.
