Job summary

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Revenue Cycle professional to oversee staff competency and monitor quality in the Patient Accounting area. You will analyze processes, design solutions, and support testing, implementation and documentation of improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a related field, or an Associate's with relevant experience.
• 3-4 years in an acute care hospital revenue cycle department with knowledge of Patient Access, Coding, Charge Entry/Audit and Patient Accounting.
• Certified Patient Account Representative (CPAR) within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the competency of staff performance and monitors quality and productivity standards.
• Analyzes departmental processes to implement enhanced system functionality.
• Develops and maintains an education program for revenue cycle staff; trains systems and processes.
• Assists management with audit tools and corrective action plans as needed.
• Ensures compliance with divisional standards and overall revenue cycle operations.
