Job summary

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Revenue Cycle professional to oversee staff competency and monitor quality in the Patient Accounting area. You will analyze processes, design solutions, and support testing, implementation and documentation of improvements.

The role includes developing education for revenue cycle staff and assisting with auditing tools and corrective plans. Responsibilities focus on maintaining compliance with divisional standards while improving system

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher in a related field, or an Associate's with relevant experience.
3-4 years in an acute care hospital revenue cycle department with knowledge of Patient Access, Coding, Charge Entry/Audit and Patient Accounting.
Certified Patient Account Representative (CPAR) within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Oversees the competency of staff performance and monitors quality and productivity standards.
Analyzes departmental processes to implement enhanced system functionality.
Develops and maintains an education program for revenue cycle staff; trains systems and processes.
Assists management with audit tools and corrective action plans as needed.
Ensures compliance with divisional standards and overall revenue cycle operations.
