Job summary

Mary Dickson is seeking a Revenue Cycle Consultant to supervise and lead the Revenue Cycle Team. Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of patient financial services experience in an FQHC is preferred.
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in a healthcare revenue cycle setting is required.
  • Knowledge of medical practice protocols related to revenue cycle management.
  • Knowledge of insurance benefit plans and explanation of benefits.
  • Current knowledge of regulatory requirements and codes.
  • Demonstrated ability to use software applications and information systems.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and interact professionally.
  • Ability to analyze situations and respond appropriately.

  • Creates documentation or inputs on departmental needs and processes.
  • Establishes consistent methods for reviewing the quality of employees' work.
  • Performs and documents audits of individual employee work.
  • Identifies problems and opportunities for improvement; develops solutions.
  • Promotes positive interpersonal relationships with physicians and other staff.

Job Summary

The Revenue Cycle Consultant supervises and leads the Revenue Cycle Team. This includes training and evaluation of staff; AR management; claims production; billing system setup, coding, chart documentation practices, patient experience, optimizes revenues and maximizes reimbursement for patient services by analyzing billing, coding, reimbursement, charge posting and charting procedures.
