Job summary

Luminis Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Account Representative to support professional and facility billing within the Revenue Cycle. Responsibilities include managing the claims process, submitting claims, and following up with payers and patients to maximize revenue.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of multi‑specialty billing experience, familiarity with ICD‑10, CPT, HCPCS, and Epic EHR, plus strong communication skills for patient inquiries and privacy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of multi‑specialty billing experience, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• Experience with Epic EHR preferred; proficient with Microsoft Office and standard office tech.
• Strong ability to work under deadlines in a results‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end revenue cycle activities, including charge review, claim creation, submission and follow‑up.
• Submit clean primary and secondary claims per payer specifications; perform payer follow‑up on outstanding claims.
• Analyze denials and remittances to drive root‑cause resolution with cross‑functional teams.
• Respond to patient inquiries, explain balances and setup approved payment arrangements while safeguarding PHI.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Office tools and maintain professional communication and timeliness.
