Job summary

Luminis Health seeks a Patient Account Representative to support professional and facility billing within the Revenue Cycle. You will manage charge review, claim creation, submission and follow‑up with insurers and patients, while ensuring timely accounting of payments and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities include using Epic EHR, handling pre‑ and post‑AR activities, and resolving complex reimbursement issues with various payer types.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of multi‑specialty billing experience preferred, including ICD‑10, CPT, HCPCS coding.
• Experience with Epic EHR preferred and proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate billing systems to manage charges, pre-AR and post-AR workflows, and follow standard claim notes.
• Prepare, audit, and submit primary and secondary claims per payer specs; perform payer follow‑up.
• Analyze denials and variances; implement root‑cause analysis with cross‑functional teams.
