Mercyhealth is seeking an experienced healthcare revenue cycle professional to manage claims processing, billing, denial resolution, and payer communications. You will work with Epic/Brightree to ensure timely and accurate submission, while maintaining compliance with Medicare and Medicaid rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with healthcare revenue cycle processes and payer regulations.
• Knowledge of Epic/Brightree and CPT/HCPCS coding.

Responsibilities

• Processes claims daily with in-depth billing knowledge by payer and ensures timely work per department standards.
• Researches and corrects claims using Epic/Brightree billing edits and payer information.
• Maintains knowledge of Federal and State regulations to ensure Medicare/Medicaid claims are correct; reports issues to supervisor.
