Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced analytics engineer to join the Revenue Analytics team. You will lead scalable data products for revenue teams, turning ambiguous business problems into durable data models, metrics, dashboards, automation, governance, and AI enablement.

You will set the technical direction for the Revenue data layer, establish semantic and metadata foundations for AI, and raise data quality across the organization while mentoring analysts and collaborating with cross-functional

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics engineering or related technical analytics role.
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, data modeling and metrics design.
• Experience with BI tools (Sigma/Looker/Tableau) and cloud warehouses (Snowflake).
• Knowledge of AI foundations: semantic layers, metadata, lineage, data quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact data product initiatives for Revenue from problem definition to rollout.
• Advance AI initiatives within the Revenue data ecosystem and establish semantic foundations.
• Design durable data products powering revenue operations, reporting, and self-service.
• Set technical direction for Revenue's data layer including models, semantics, testing, governance.
• Identify opportunities to automate and scale analytics through data architecture and tooling.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analysts and cross-functional partners.
